Kirilenko's Kids has an opportunity to make differences in the lives of youth in Russia and Utah. Through the Foundation's efforts, many lives will be profoundly impacted in a positive manner and be forever changed. Through Andrei Kirilenko's unique appeal to kids and adults alike, the Foundation will grow and reach a critical segment of our population that not only will impact the future of Utah and Russia, but can also be a positive influence to all those the children come in contact with throughout the world.

 On June 1st, 2007, we started renovation work of the court and surrounding areas in the Frunzenskaya Sport School, in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. Last year we repaired other parts of the School including: halls, stairs and the second floor. Renovation of the court and dressing rooms had to be financed by the government, but in May, 2007, the School faced the problem: money were not given, and district's supervisors forbade opening it next September in the current technical condition.
Kirilenko's Kids Foundation decided to finance the repair work. While working there we will install a ventilation system (there was not such system until now), we'll renew the roof covering, heating system, windows, court, rims, lights and all other things required for the School could open doors for children in September 2007. |

  We want to congratulate Orphanage # 23, in Moscow, on their 10th anniversary! Orphanage #23 cares for up to 50 chilcren of ages from 3 to 18 years of age. We want the children to be healthy, to be successful in their schooling and to be able to enjoy the things that normal children do. We want to thank the wonderful personnel who take care of these children. They do a great job giving the children the love and attention that children desire. Sporting activities are one of priorities of the orphanage.
The Kirilenko's Kids foundation presented to the children of the orphanage new soccer equipment and two great open courts were also built on the orphanage grounds. We plan on having a basketball clinic there next summer. |
